Changes to the Quebec Immigration Regulation.

On October 30, 2019, Immigration, Francisation and Integration Quebec (the former MIDI) released the updates of the Quebec immigration regulations. Starting November 1, 2019, international graduates can submit their applications for Quebec selection in the Quebec Experience Program. Temporary Foreign Workers in Quebec also remain eligible for this program. Quebec also introduced new specific requirements for both categories of applicants. Beginning January 1, 2020, Quebec will also test the candidates for the knowledge of Quebec values in order to promote better integration of immigrants. The new regulation applies to all economic immigration programs: Quebec Experience Program, Regular Skilled Worker Program, Self-Employed Worker Program, Entrepreneur Program and Investor Program.
