4 Easiest Express Entry PNP Streams

By 15 June 2022June 10th, 2024No Comments

Each Canadian province offers its own Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP). Such programs provide immigration routes for different types of applicants who wish to settle in a specific region.
Thousands of prospective immigrants apply for Canadian immigration through these programs because they believe they offer a more accessible immigration pathway compared to the Federal Programs.

This guide will examine four of the easiest Express Entry PNP streams.

What are Express Entry PNP Streams?

Before we discuss the Express Entry PNP streams in our list, it is essential to understand the distinction between these programs and the non-Express Entry ones.

Applicants applying for Canadian immigration through Provincial Nominee Programs that are not linked to the Express Entry System must meet their chosen program’s requirements. Successful PNP applicants will receive a nomination from the province and can apply for permanent residence using a non-Express Entry federal application.

When the applicants complete and submit their PNP applications, the province gives successful candidates a provincial nomination and 600 points for their CRS score.

These candidates can then apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry System and benefit from the additional points from the provincial nomination.

1. Saskatchewan Express Entry: International Skilled Worker

Saskatchewan Express Entry Stream

The Saskatchewan Express Entry: International Skilled Worker program offers an easy immigration pathway due to its requirements. This includes:

  • No Canadian job offer requirement.
  • No Canadian work experience requirement.
  • No Canadian education requirement.
  • Receiving application points even if you are above the age of 35.
  • Requires only one year of foreign work experience.
  • Scoring a minimum of CLB 4 on a language proficiency exam.
  • No charges for creating an Expression of Interest (EOI).

Prospective applicants who wish to apply through this program must ensure their foreign work experience falls under the National Occupation Code (NOC) classes 0, A, or B. They must also check to see if they are eligible for a minimum of 60 points through the SINP Points Grid.

2. Prince Edward Island's PNP Express Entry Stream

PEI PNP Express Entry Stream

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Program is another easy immigration stream. Prospective immigrants can apply through the PEI Express Entry stream if they meet the eligibility requirements described below:

Prospective applicants can then check how many points they will be eligible for under the program’s points grid before submitting their Expression of Interest.

Note that the province often nominates candidates who do not possess a job offer in PEI. However, applicants with a valid job offer will receive additional points and have a higher chance of receiving a nomination.
