Candidates need to create an online profile and register with the BC PNP. The program ranks candidates based on factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. The highest-ranked candidates receive invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residency in BC. The Skills Immigration Stream offers various categories, including those for skilled workers, healthcare professionals, international graduates, and semi-skilled workers.

BC PNP and Express Entry: How to Combine the Two Programs

What is Express Entry BC Stream?

The Express Entry BC Stream under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) collaborates with the federal government’s Express Entry system. It offers numerous benefits to skilled immigrants seeking permanent residency in Canada.

Through this category, eligible candidates in the Express Entry pool can receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. This substantial increase significantly improves their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residency.

Opting for the Express Entry BC category streamlines the application process, resulting in faster processing times. Candidates can leverage their provincial nomination to expedite their permanent residency application.

By choosing British Columbia, candidates gain access to diverse job opportunities and a thriving economy. The province offers a robust job market in sectors like technology, healthcare, and natural resources, enabling candidates to secure employment in high-demand fields.
