British Columbia has announced the release of its fourth BC PNP Draw of May 2023. A total of 196 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been issued to Skilled Workers and International Graduates who are part of the program’s candidate pool under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

The Latest BC PNP draw, carried out under the BC PNP Skills Immigration category, aims to attract highly skilled and semi-skilled workers in occupations that are in high demand in British Columbia (BC). In addition, candidates from the Express Entry BC stream were also included in this draw.

BC PNP Latest Draw Results: May 30, 2023

The fourth BC PNP Skills Immigration draw in May 2023 specifically targeted candidates with a valid job offer in one of the eligible occupations under the program. The minimum score required for this draw ranged from 60 to 107 points across all categories.

In the latest BC PNP draw, a total of 151 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been granted to eligible candidates under the General Category, 11 ITAs fewer as compared to the previous draw. The ITAs have been distributed among five different applicant categories, each requiring specific minimum scores:

BC PNP Targeted Draws

The latest BC PNP targeted draws conducted by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) have resulted in the issuance of 45 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates. These ITAs have been allocated to two specific applicant categories: Childcare (Early childhood educators and assistants – NOC 42202), Healthcare, and 0ther priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). The Skills Immigration (SI) stream represents a key pathway for skilled workers to apply for a provincial nomination under the BC PNP. This stream is divided into various categories, including:

BC PNP Health Authority:  The Health Authority sub-category is tailored for healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, psychiatric nurses, and allied health professionals. Candidates must have a job offer in an eligible healthcare occupation in British Columbia.

BC PNP International Graduate: The International Graduate sub-category is intended for individuals who have recently graduated from a Canadian university or college. Candidates must secure a job offer from a BC employer in a skilled occupation related to their field of study.

BC PNP International Post-Graduate: The International Post-Graduate sub-category is open to graduates who have completed a Master’s or Doctoral degree in natural, applied, or health sciences from an eligible British Columbia institution.

BC PNP Semi-Skilled: The Semi-Skilled sub-category is targeted at individuals who have received a job offer from a BC employer in an eligible occupation within tourism, hospitality, food processing, or long-haul trucking. Eligible candidates must meet specific language and employment requirements.
