On September 17, 2019, British Columbia a new invitations round under Skills Immigration and Express Entry British Columbia categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In this round, 481 registrants received invitations to apply for the provincial nomination. Due to the large intakes three times in a row, the lowest scores in Skills Immigration categories have dropped, while the scores in the EEBC have slightly increased:
- Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker 92 (-1 point)
- Skills Immigration – International Graduate 97 (-1 point)
- Skills Immigration – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 77
- Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker 97 (+1 point)
- Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate 101 (+1 point)
In total, British Columbia invited 6,402 registrants under all streams of BCPNP in 2019. The federal government had allocated 6,500 spots to BC in 2019.
