The Next Express Entry Draw Prediction: October 26, 2022

The Next Express Entry Draw will be held on October 26, 2022. The CRS score has finally come below the 500 range, which is great news for many Express Entry candidates.

In order to predict the future Express Entry Draw, we need an important metric, that is the number of candidates added to the pool between September 28, 2022, and October 12, 2022.

As there is no way to predict it exactly, let’s take the average number of candidates added to the pool in the last three draws. In today’s Express Entry Latest Draw, a total of 4,250 invitations were issued, out of which 466 straight away went to the 601-Above CRS range. The rest of the 2,784 invitations were issued to the 501-600 range.

Please refer to the table below for the average no. of Candidates to be added before the Next Express Entry Draw.

Just like this draw, in the Next Express Entry draw only candidates within 601 and above and 501-600 CRS ranges will receive invitations.

For the 501-600 range, there is a big difference between 7,431 (before the draw) and 4,152 (after the draw), the cut-off score for the Next Express Entry Draw will be around 501-511.

This is a broad range, and we need to narrow it down. If we assume numeric distribution between 501 and 511, which means all candidates are evenly spread out and there is no skew.

So, 7,431 candidates are evenly among 10 points (501-511). Sending out 3,279 invitations will cover (3279/7431)*10 which equals 4 points. So the next cut-off score may come down 4 points bringing it to 507.
