Canada Targeted Express Entry Draw for Healthcare Workers ~ 1500 Invitations

On July 6, 2023, IRCC held the third Category-Based Express Entry Draw targeted for Healthcare professionals. A total of 1,500 candidates as per the announcement made on June 28, 2023. The minimum CRS score required was 463, which is so far the lowest CRS score observed in 2023. Earlier this week, IRCC invited 500 candidates in Targeted Express Entry Draw for the STEM category.

Healthcare professions are prominently featured on Canada’s Targeted Express Entry Occupation List, comprising a total of 35 occupations. The country is actively seeking skilled individuals, including dentists, registered nurses, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to address the pressing shortage of healthcare workers. This scarcity is a result of Canada’s declining birth rate and aging population, emphasizing the urgent need for skilled immigrants to fill these crucial roles.
