The foreign nationals who came to Canada on a temporary resident visa and were unable to return to their countries due to International travel restrictions must apply for status extensions. The visa extension application can be submitted online. But the visitors must note that they are not exempted from rules.They can be considered out of status if they do not apply for a status extension.
Many applicants who are receiving requests from IRCC to submit biometrics, medical examinations or other documents must not panic. IRCC has announced an extension of 90 days in order to provide all necessary documents for processing. Applicants can submit required documents at a later date.
