On April 27, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the resumption of work of its Client Support Centre. Due to the COVID-19 quarantine measures, the work of the call centre was closed, and the agents of the department were serving clients via emails only.
The government has upgraded the system, so the call agents now can securely work from home and provide information about the applications Mondays to Fridays from 9 AM to 5 PM EST. The online web-form inquiries are still available 24/7.
