Manitoba issued first 477 certificates of nominations in 2020.

On February 10, 2020, Manitoba released the first statistics on the issuance of the certificates of the nominations in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In January 2020, MPNP nominated 476 Skilled Workers and 1 business candidate. Manitoba also refused 24 profiles of Skilled Workers. The province invited 616 Skilled Workers, 16 business concepts and 6 Business Investors. So far, MPNP received 388 applications from Skilled Workers and 4 applications from business candidates. Currently, Manitoba is assessing 562 applications, and the other 1,466 applications are pending assessment.
