After the Covid-19 travel restrictions were lifted, resuming the biometric services was the last hitch for the applicants who applied for Canada immigration. While international students have been relieved from Canada’s travel limitations as of 20th October 2020, Indian students who have not submitted biometrics before couldn’t make a trip to Canada. The equivalent could be said for skilled worker immigrants and family class who are additionally excluded from the travel limitations.
Since VACs in India have started with their operations from today, the individuals who are absolved from Canada’s travel restrictions will have the option to present their biometrics to finish their entire process of Canada immigration application and be ready to travel to Canada.
On Twitter, the Canadian Government posted that it won’t accept any walk-ins at VACs. Individuals should book an appointment with VACs in advance and be present at the VAC at a given time.
Suppose the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has given a special Biometric Instructions Letter (BIL) which concerns you. In that case, you will get more guidelines to your email ID on the document about how to plan your biometric arrangement.
The Canadian Government mentioned that it would schedule more appointments in the coming weeks as the VACs opens its services in phases. As India is the leading nation where people are interested in Canada immigration.
