Applicants who are qualified for the federal Express Entry pool and wish to live and work in Yukon may apply to the Yukon Express Entry stream. In March 2015, Yukon expanded its current immigration policies to include an Express Entry stream.
YNP Express Entry stream enables the province to nominate applicants already in the Express Entry pool and possesses the required training, experience, language skills, and other qualities to aid in their successful integration into Yukon’s society and labour market.
Successful candidates are offered additional 600 points for their CRS score in the Express Entry profile. The candidates must be eligible for one of the three federal economic immigration programs to apply for the Yukon Nominee Program:

The Yukon Nominee Program launched this unique stream for employers who cannot find Canadians to fill specific low-skilled occupational roles and wants to hire foreign workers instead. Qualified foreign nationals with the relevant skill set and background can apply to this program. They will receive a temporary work permit and can come to Canada. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) process their permanent residence application while they work for their Canadian employer.

The Yukon Community Program is a unique program designed under Yukon Nominee Program. This pilot program is scheduled to run between January 2020 and June 2023. It helps employers in specific Yukon communities address seasonal labour shortages by hiring foreign workers. Such workers can eventually apply for permanent residence.
