Eligibility Requirements for New Brunswick Strategic Initiative
New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Application Process
Stage 1: PR Readiness Being PR-Ready initially is critical as it ensures smooth processing of your application, prevents unnecessary delays, and leads to higher satisfaction with the overall immigration application system.
Stage 2: Expression of Interest (EOI) You should create your INB profile and share it with your Expression of Interest (EOI) during the NBSI process. Make sure to provide accurate information, especially about life-changing events.
Stage 3: Invitation to Apply (ITA) If you meet all the eligibility criteria, you may receive an invitation through the NBPNP’s Strategic Initiative program. You must submit the application within 45 days of receiving this invitation.
Stage 4: Submitting Provincial Application to GNB After the successful online submission of the form and processing fees, the Government of New Brunswick (GNB) will examine your application. If rejected, you may reapply with another stream, provided you meet the eligibility criteria.
Stage 5: Application Decision by IRCC After receiving a nomination from GNB, you are required to submit your final application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). IRCC will evaluate your application based on multiple factors. Please note that GNB is not responsible for the final decision to grant or deny your PR.
